Music: Danse Macabre
Music: Pachabel meets U2
- This music is so interesting, I love the idea
- Oh no, fall on the first jumps
- I'm happy to see a smile on her face after landing the second jump
- Good use of plie and the whole body in the footwork, she spends a lot of time on one leg
- Really good speed in the layback, could use a higher leg in the traditional position
- Her hands are really tends, I'd love to see her relax them a lot
- This instrumental "With our without you" brings back a lot of good memories for me
- I love that traveling entrance into the camel spin
- Really nice low position at the end of that combo
- Sad about the fall, but very great expressive qualities to this skater
2) Polina Edmunds
Music: Shenandoah/Turkey in the Straw
- She is adorable, I love her! And at 13, she's younger than many Novices
- I love that she shows her personality and the character of the piece in the choreography
- Long entrance, but produces a good jump
- Nice high tuck in the fly into the sit spin
- I love Shenandoah, it's a fantastic piece of music
- The arms are a little wild in the footwork, but I appreciate that she's using them
- Good job of keeping the energy up the whole way through as the picks up at the end

7) Gracie Gold

- Amazing job from the last minute or so that I caught!
- Internet problems :(
8) Gwendolyn Prescott
Music:
- This is a beautiful selection of music
- Good spinning ability, I like the variations in the camel
- The arms are a little stiff, I'd like to see her relax the upper body
- A rather abrupt ending, but a good program overall
9) Ashley Cain
Music: Montserrat
- At 16, Ashley looks and is one of the most mature ladies in this field
- This program was phenomenal on the Grand Prix this season
- Two-foots the first jump but manages to hold on
- Her speed and intensity throughout this piece are great
- Steps out of the jump but makes it look like choreography, that's the mark of a pro
- I like this piece a lot, she performs it so well and she has the carriage of the senior
- Really lost speed toward that catch-leg spin
- Broke character a little too quickly after the last beat of the music
10) Hannah Miller
Music: Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens
- I love that spin that she opens with
- She competes in a very tough sectional with Gold, Long, and Bell so I think that tight competition makes them all better
- Very clean program, she was exquisite on the Junior Grand Prix this season
- Very tight, clean jumps, there is no doubt she is going to land them when she takes off
- This program is very high energy and she does a fine job of living up to that
- Good solid program from Hannah, last year's Novice champ
- What are they reviewing that it's taking so long?
11) Katarina Kulgeyko
Music: Love Theme by Tchaikovsky
- Really tight jump to start, falls on second jump of the combo
- She reminds me of Sarah Hughes
- She looks a little anxious, unsettled, like she's not over her legs
- That was a bit of a weird music edit for me
12) Jessica Hu
Music: Danse Macabre
- She is a very tall skater
- Nice spring into those jumps
- I like the dress a lot, but I don't think it fits Dance Macabre
- Unfortunate fall on the 2nd jump
- That spiral position needs much more stretch
- I hate hearing the same music twice in the same event because it's difficult not to compare them to one another
