Dance Moms LIVE BLOG: Season 2, Episode 5

• Brooke needs to be more mature and stick with something for a whole season
• I get what Abby is saying about Brooke, she's being very nice to her about it
• Wowza, Kendall is finally off probation
• I love Starbound, that's a good competition
• Paige didn't do a trio because you pulled it from her Abby
• Wow Maddy was downgraded to #3 on the pyramid, she needs to step it up
• Poor Peyton, she wasn't given a fair shot, but her height did make her stick out like a sore thumb
• How do these women even have voices with all the screaming?
• I wonder if Brooke was actually ever on that cheer team?
• Haha Brooke is "portraying an alien like her mother"
• Mackenzie's hat is so funny! 
• Mackenzie learned to dance in 30 minutes!
• "This is my hobby, watching my kids" -Jill; that is just sad, get your own life dear
• My teacher would pitch a fit if a parent went to an assistant instead of her
• It took Nia and Paige a long time to get special parts, Jill needs to calm it down
• Melissa works the front desk for free to get her daughter ahead, I know that exact mom at my studio
• Jill is definitely messing the group up, before she got there, they only talked about Melissa behind her back
• What team are you on...Jill/Melissa or Christi/Kelly/Holly?
• I'm really liking Abby this episode, she's acting like a real person, nice tender little moment with Mackenzie
• Oh lord have mercy, Jill hired a personal in-studio masseuse for Abby & Gia...but why is Jill in there during the massage? Weird !
• I think I'd be terrified to ride in a bus driven by Abby
• Jill, dear, obviously Kendall has to still stretch even though she has no solos, what are you smoking?
• Half the time I can't even hear what they're saying because they all yell over each other
• Mackenzie does have some nice acro skills for her age
• Poor Brooke always has to wear cirqu du  soleil-esque eye makeup
• This music sounds like 2001 Space Odyssey
• Brooks movements look a little slow and clunky...Abby isn't happy
• Aww Mackenzie won, that's awesome, she's really coming into her own, she isn't just eating chips anymore
• You can't deny that Abby knows her stuff, telling them to jump from their core and not the legs is spot on
• Christi is acting like white trash
• I love Abby's constant references to Broadway, she has genuine reverence for it
• Avalanche is a really cute number, I like the costumes a lot
• The group didn't win, Abby is smart to recognize that the kids that won love dance more than some of her kids
• What is going on next week, it looks like a hodge-podge mess if I've ever seen one

Dance Moms: Season 2, Episode 2 LIVE BLOG

• Here we go, Abby is stomping around and getting the girls ready for CANDY APPLES
• I love that "She" automatically means Cathy
• Kendall sweetie, don't you get that in Abby's world, your best isn't good enough?
• These "apple" references are so overdone
• This new mom needs to get to the program, Jill is it?
• Oh boy, this mom did NOT just call out Holly, she'll be sorry
• This group is indeed like a sorority, you got it Christi
• If Jill walks into the studio in shoes, she's clearly never been in a dance studio before
• The look on Kelly's face when Jill confronts Abby is priceless, I'm dying!
• Those shots of Cathy's kids aren't half bad, but Vivvy doesn't belong in that group
• Do these women work? Or are they just ladies who lunch?
• I wish they'd let Brooke do something other than acro please!
• I love that Vivi is just like bopping along in the background while Erica is rehearsing
• "I cut my finger on my mom's ring, I hope I can still dance" -Vivi #priceless
• Christi bringing out the program books is just ridiculous, there is no reason to put down a kid dear
• What is with this "rat" thing?
• I love that Abby just asked Kelly if she's drinking, haha
• I love that Maddie and Melissa aren't the enemies this season, that's a refreshing change
• I actually like the way that Cathy interacts with her dancers, at least from what I can see
• The way Kelly says "costumes" is so annoying!
• The whole "gifting Abby" thing is kind of ridiculous
• And then she just asked for a husband, I'm sure this show has them lining up
• Cathy is trying to seduce the dance moms to the Candy Apple studio, I die!
• Who knew there were high rollers in Columbus?!
• Abby did not get an A in hair design!
• Abby, dance teacher who want specific hair pieces get the same thing for everybody
• This choreography is really cute, though the costumes and hair are heinous
• Way too many crotch shots in that piece
• Abby has a point, what is she supposed to do about Cathy entering kids in a younger age category?
• Abby's girls had a right win, they were more polished while Cathy's girls flailed a lot
• I love Brooke's commitment to the makeup
• Brooke is old enough to show some expression other than a smile, but that was nice execution of the piece
• This whole age thing is ridiculous, they're competing against a score anyway
• Oh boy Cathy is calling out Christi for wearing a cheap dress, this is so typical

Lord knows I was ready for this train wreck to be back on television, so here we go!

9:00 Last season's recap....Abby produces employable dancers...blah, blah, blah; obviously there were tears shown in the recap
9:01 It's so fitting that the first shot of the season is Abby stomping and clapping
9:02 Abby, people don't know them from that stupid music video, people know these girls from this show dear
9:03 This is so ridiculous that they're holding an "open casting call" for this "group" as if it were the traveling cast of Lord of the Rings the Musical
9:04 I love Nia's response, "I'm the one who has to be here, not my mom, because she has to work and she's not a dancer"
9:06 We need a new gimmick outside of the pyramid, come on Abby
9:07 Cathy with that touch screen is a regular Vanna White
9:08 Why would Holly come to "pyramiding" when Nia never makes it to the top
9:10 Hearing about Abby's period made me throw up a little bit in my mouth
9:15 Poor Nia is so sad that her mom can't make it to the competition!!

11:00 See you all next season! I'll try to keep up with Dance Moms in the off-season and let you know all the gossip!
10:59 No rest for Abby's dancers because she is "taking the gloves off next season". But wait, where were the gloves this season?
10:57 So how much do you want to bet that Lux is a one-hit wonder?

10:18 So watching Mackenzie dance with that 20-year-old guy is just creepy. It was slightly less awkward with Chloe because she is tall for her age. Is that weird that I said that?
